After-School Ski and Snowboard Program—Registration open!
Attention Skiers and Snowboarders (both Upper and Middle-school)!! Registration forms and information packets for the Mt. Ashland After-School Ski and Snowboard Program are now available in the St. Mary’s front office. Participants in this popular program spend five Fridays at Mt. Ashland enjoying some of the best downhill skiing and snowboard riding our local area has to offer. Lift passes, bus transportation, hour- long lessons with the Mt. Ashland Ski/Snowboard School, and discounted equipment rental rates are all part of the package.
The dates for the program are January 7, 14, 21, 28, and February 4. Each Friday, skiers and snowboarders will leave from the St. Mary's School parking lot right after school, returning to St. Mary’s at 10:15 p.m. For the convenience of our Ashland residents, students can be dropped off on our way back down the hill at the Bi-Mart parking lot at 9:45 p.m.
Through the generosity of donors to the Mt. Ashland Scholarship Fund, financial aid is available for those families who are unable to afford the full cost of student participation in the program. A financial
aid/scholarship application is included in the After-school Ski and Snowboard Program information packet.
Please mark the following dates on your calendar.

Lava Beds Caving Trip- Outdoor Club Trip
Date: Saturday, November 13
Time: Meet at 7 a.m. in the St. Mary’s Parking Lot. Approx. return: 8:30 p.m.
A very popular trip that is open to both upper- and middle-school students. Travel with the Outdoor Program to Lava Beds National Monument of Northern California (near Tule Lake). You will spend the day hiking and crawling through caves formed by ancient volcanic lava flows. The adventurous day of exploring underground is then followed by a pizza fest in Klamath Falls on the way back.Contact: Alan McCreedy
