Cancelled- St. M Knitting Club: Join Us for a Cozy Crafting Experience!
We are canceling the Knitting Club for November 6, 2024. See you at our next gathering on November 13.
Attention St. Mary's Community! Are you ready to pick up a new skill this fall? Come learn how to knit with us! In our St. M Knitting Club, we’ll guide you through the basics of knitting, reading patterns, and completing a simple project designed specifically for beginners. This class is open to adults and students.
This season, we’ll be making a set of hand warmers—perfect for keeping your fingers cozy as winter approaches! Not only are these hand warmers functional, but they also make thoughtful holiday gifts for friends and family.
Knitting isn’t just a fun activity; it offers a host of benefits too! Experience reduced stress and anxiety, improved cognitive function, and an overall boost in mindfulness. Plus, it releases dopamine, giving you that wonderful feel-good effect.
Materials Needed:
Yarn: Aran or worsted weight in any color you love
Size US 7 knitting needles

Join us for a creative and relaxing experience, and let’s get those needles clicking together! We can’t wait to see you there!
The Club is led by St. M parent, Kelle Lovett and is open to everyone in the St. M Community (students, parents, alumni, and friends). Please contact Kelle with any questions.
