Celebrating Excellence at Winter Awards

 

At St. Mary’s, we take pride in celebrating the achievements of our students across all disciplines. During our recent Winter Awards Ceremony, we recognized students who have demonstrated outstanding dedication, passion, and talent in a variety of academic fields. 

Our Excellence in English Award recipients are known for their mastery of language. They craft compelling essays, use sophisticated vocabulary, and even challenge their teachers with their vast knowledge. Congratulations to Adley Damon, Natalie Hung, Rameen Jaffar, Bennett Peterson, Audrey Pulliam, Piper Ravassipour, Rubaina Siyad, and Alex Xu for their literary excellence.

With a love for experiments, lab work, and discovery, these students are constantly exploring the wonders of science. Whether mixing solutions or testing hypotheses, they bring curiosity and innovation to every experiment. We proudly recognize Warren Drake, Ben Fazroni, Ridley Fife, Natalie Hiratzka, Elsa Lee, Katie Smelley, Peyton Smelley, Glendyn Staley-Menapace, Alexandru Titianu, Marren Tignini, and Alena Wilcox for their achievements in science.

From ancient civilizations to modern revolutions, these students have an unmatched enthusiasm for history. They can recall fascinating historical details, such as which ear Shakespeare wore an earring on and the events that shaped our world. We celebrate Kennedy Alexander, Cassidy Arnold, James Beers, Leo Greaves, Joel Kiene, River King, Rocco Primerano, Alison Olson, Kaiya Speier, Isabella Smith, and Harry Wiencek for their passion for history.

These students see the world through numbers, equations, and formulas. Whether it’s solving complex problems or calculating at lightning speed, their mathematical minds are truly impressive. Our Excellence in Math Award recipients are Kayleb Etchegaray, Ryleigh Ho, Bibid Paudyal, Jim Peng, Bao Pham, Andrew Youssef, and Emily Zhou.

Fluent in multiple languages, these students could give Google Translate a run for its money! Their ability to learn and communicate in different tongues sets them apart. We recognize Eli Angulo, Josephine Anifowose-Winter, Kaiya Bagley, Cathy Cao, Kent David, Fernando Cortes-Jacquez, Isabella Grijalva, Luxxse Homewood, Humda Khalid, Sebi Kim, Meno Kubo, Dylan Kuhl, Owen Kuhl, Esme Mackison, Keegan McRae, Aiden Miller, Akayla Moens, Lucia Palzewicz, Lucas Peterson, Bodie Simonsen, Brady Stenson, and Bella White for their excellence in world languages.

From painting to performing, these students bring creativity and artistic expression to our community. Whether through music, visual arts, or theatrical performances, they continue to inspire their peers with their talent. Our Excellence in Fine Arts Award winners are Kate Aufderheide, Sophie Bendaw, Ketsia Carvalhlaes, Nico Davis, Connor Gibbs, Maddy Jones, Avril Leddon, Helen Lin, Lily Rim, and Cai Cai Tongio.
